Day 9: Rilakkuma, Purikura!

Day 9

Today totally cheered me up! I'm so happy *does a dance*

I was going to meet up with my friend D. i met at schiphol, he was in the same plane as i was. He was the first Japanese person i talked to during this trip :)
I was meeting him at five so i dicided to go to kiddyland (i talked about this in the harajuku post). Again it rained in Harajuku, but this time no big crouds.
I got to kiddyland and had heart attack!



Rilakkuma :D
They had a Rilakkuma floor! but not only that, a hellokitty floor. They also sold kuronyanko, kapibara-san, moomins, ghibly, pokemon and many more.
But i got a big thing for Rila, i even bought rila underwear earlyer this week! :P
when you search for Rilakkuma on wiki the first thing you show you is the Rilakkuma floor in Kiddyland haha take a look:

I played around a bit just like the little kids (and the teenage girls, and the grown up men in their 40's collecting hello kitty)

Japan really does sell some crazy toys! should have taken some more pictures.
I a few things. i really think i did good. not buying every animal wind up toy the place sells.

i went to the subway station to find the starbuck there. i got really annoyed, i passed it 10 times. and now that i wanted to go there, i coulden find it!!! blegh!
So i got to another one outside the station. And the funny thing is that becouse i couldent find the starbucks i wanted i met a really nice 'stranger' at the starbucks i went to in the end. coincidence and i play good games. I got some advice :)



And some koffie (my fav) wich is cold coffie, i should get another favorite wich is warm this time a year.



i was on time in Shinjuku, but you can guess right? took me some time to find the place. i met japanese men who stopped and geave me his umbrella, just like that! we must have gotten really wet himself. the reason i dident had my umbrella was becouse i was in to much of a hurry to get to the right place. i just think that's so amazing. when i see someone with no umbrelly next time i will give the umbrella away. i'll pass on positive energy trough it (yeh yeh some will comment that its just an umbrella :P)
but i would have thought D. would have probably left already and went home. thinking i stood him up like that *crying*. but he waited all the time!

we had an awsome time!!
He took me to the goverment building (the one i wrote about before that i was afraid to go up to) and i went up!! whohoooo! to the verry top. my ears poped on the elevator.
The weather was verry bad (it got to the point where it was snowing) so there wasent much vieuw. but i made some pictures to show you how high i was! so awsome





after that we went to hve dinner. by the time i got to the place my uggs (fake no leather!) where soaked wet! This is a picture i took for fun later that night.
i had my own private little onsen. 2 of them.



We had rice curry. I had the vegetable curry. It was good. i did like it :D im not shure if D. did becouse it was a verry cheap place lol. The chef had been to Amsterdam. He showed me pictures of cannabis XD ofcourse

after that we went to do something verry high on my 'travel wishlist'. we got to Purikura picture booths. Its a place where you take funny pictures and draw cute stuff on them. They are so awsome.
