Day 4: Senso-ji, Tokyo cruse & Japanese Teahouse

Day 4:

Traveling with the metro went a little better today. I got into the right metro but it took me sometime to find out wich one was the right one.

I went to Asakusa to see a temple called senso-ji. It had a big tori (gate) in front of that and after the tori was a big street of little souvenir shops. the shops where embelished with sakura blossem twines. the sold touristic souvenirs of japan. it was really magical, also it was a really nice sunny day so it was a nice day to take a strole.

the tempel was amazing, i can understand why this is such a touristic spot. beautyfull reds and golds. Pictures will explain everything ;)











anyway i loved it!

After i went to the tempel i had a cruse from asakusa to tokyo bay.
It took me to a garden. i took a lot of pictures. it was fun but not so scenic, there was a lot of concreet (duh) here are a few pictures





oh and before i forget i met the cutest (next to mikey ;)) dog

when i got of of the cruse i went to a great garden. i tried to do some meditation but instead i just made a lot of pictures :P the garden was really really relaxing though. and it was my first time in a Japanese garden. but the best thing of it all was the tea house in the middel of the garden. located in the lake was a beautyfull teahouse where you could drink tea for 500 Yen. i first doubted but the staff of the teahouse was so nice i got convinced. and i am glad i was :) you had to take off your shoes and then choose if you wanted to sit inside or oudside. i choose outside. you had to sit at a table with a little bench. the vieuw was great! you saw the garden en the concrete rising above. i had my tea and a sweet with that the traditional japanese way. i was so relaxed and happy, i could have sitten there for hours if it wouldent have stared to rain.








amazing huh?

again i forgot to eat lunch so i was so hungry getting back! i ate some instant noodles.
